A Taste of Bubbly: Champagne Region
For those looking for a Champagne tour with a good introduction to the various tastes and styles of Champagne available, this tour is the answer. After taking a short, scenic train ride through the vineyards to Epernay, Moët and Chandon is situated within walking distance of the town center and you will meet your guide at a central departure point before being taken to the vineyards where you will have a tour at a smaller producer.

Day 1 Champagne
Upon arrival in Reims, check into a Privilège room at the 4* Hotel de la Paix. A bottle of chilled Champagne will be waiting for you in your room. You will be provided with a list of recommended restaurants and hotel staff can reserve a table at any of these for dinner.

Day 2 Champagne
After having breakfast at the hotel, take the train to Epernay for your tour and tasting of a white and a rosé Champagne at the largest and grandest Champagne House, Moët and Chandon. When Moët and Chandon is closed, we will instead arrange a tour of GH Mumm in Reims with tastings of a vintage and a non-vintage Champagne. A half day guided and transported vineyard tour in Epernay follows, concluding with a visit to a small, family-run Champagne House to learn about the Champagne-making process from vine to bottle and tastings of three or four of the Maison's Champagnes. Return to Reims by train.
